Description

The Sonicator 740 by Mettler is a lightweight and portable therapeutic ultrasound device. It features a universal applicator cable to make changing applicators quick and easy. There is an optional rechargeable lithium ion battery pack that truly allows you to take therapy on the road with you. Large soft-touch controls let you set-up treatments quickly and easily and the backlit display shows all treatment parameters and conditions. Included with this device is a 5 cm2 dual frequency applicator, Sonic*Tool and O-ring. The dual frequency applicator gets applied to the patient and allows the user to measure at both 1 and 3 MHz frequencies. The Sonic*Tool by Mettler is the first device of its kind to combine both IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization) and Therapeutic Ultrasound. The Sonic*Tool makes delivering Instrument Assisted Ultrasound easy and effective. Attach the Sonic*Tool to a specially modified 5 cm2 applicator and start treating patients with confidence. The Sonic*Tool aids in the activation of increased circulation, range of motion and pain reduction. Now you can do Functional Ultrasound by combining ultrasound, IASTM and movement. Use the outside edge of the Sonic*Tool as a scanner then change the angle of the Sonic*Tool to optimize your manual therapy treatment technique. The Sonic*Tool can be used with the ultrasound applicator only or in conjunction with the Sonicator 740 Ultrasound Device. By adding ultrasound, you can significantly enhance your IASTM treatments. The thermal effects of ultrasound and in-vitro cavitation will add therapeutic benefits to your treatments, providing better outcomes.
