The Meridian Optimum Comfort Gel Cushion provides comfort and pressure relief to patients in wheelchairs. Featuring both a channeled gel bladder and a foam base for additional support, this cushion provides and maintains maximum relief over the entire cushion area as the bladder prevents gel migration in high-pressure areas. Regular foam cushions simply can't match the pressure relief quality of gel cushions especially for pressure sores. With the gel and the foam combined, this cushion offers 3" of cloud-like comfort to those sitting on it. Sized at 22" x 18" x 3", this cushion will fit most standard wheelchairs. Large enough to cushion the entire seating area yet small enough to remain portable and convenient. The cushion has a weight capacity of 425 lbs. Not just for wheelchairs and to prevent pressure sores, this cushion provides comfort, support and relief to anyone sitting for long periods of time. Foam cushions bunch up in high pressure areas. Pressure sores are prevented because the bladder ensures the gel cushion stays flat and provides consistent relief over the entire cushion area. High-end, water resistant cover is removable and washable. Inner foam has a liner to protect the integrity of the foam. Nylon security strap with hook and loop closures secure cushion to seat.
