Meridian Altus Pro True Low Air Loss Mattress System

The Altus Pro System is a true low air loss mattress system suitable for the management and treatment of medium and high-risk pressure ulcer treatment and 24-hour pressure area care. It has been designed to aid patients with visible pressure ulcers and sores that fall under Stages II - IV. The mattress and blower system combine to automatically maintain four different pressure zones to reduce the incidence of pressure ulcers while optimizing patient comfort. The included blower produces over 1,000 Liters Per Minute (LPM) in air flow, fully inflating the mattress in under two minutes. The system features 20 rows of 10" high air cells, providing a continuous pressure relief environment. At the same time, the mattress helps to reduce body temperature and moisture by allowing air to diffuse and circulate through the laser holes of the surface. Patient comfort is at the forefront with softer head and heal sections and firmer torso and leg sections. The ventilated nylon-polyurethane air cells feature a snap cell design for quick disconnection and replacement. The included cover is made of 4-way stretch polyester and has a waterfall zipper for added protection. Its non-skid surface on the base of it keeps the mattress secure when the bed is raised at either end. This system is ideal for nursing homes, long term care and home care settings as prescribed by a physician. The mattress has a weight capacity of 425 lbs. This is a package of the mattress, air blower and cover. At 80" long, the mattress will fit on most average bed frames. Air pump features 8 levels of pressure settings allowing pressure to be customized to the patient's weight. Ventilated air cells provide a microclimate that reduces moisture. The cover is fluid resistant and anti-microbial, making it easy to clean and removing the risk of cross-contamination between patients. Blower attaches easily to the ends of beds. It features emergency CPR deflation through the quick connector within 15 seconds.
